A Thankful Heart

She walked in last night from softball practice,
(her sister was sleeping, still not feeling well), and
again it hit me, She Is Growing Up.
Still young.
But growing, not in size, yes that too, another
pair of pants did not fit this morning, awh, but
her,
she as a person is growing and its wonderful to see.
He has blessed me with something
so AwEsOmE,
and I love it!
Thank You.

Thank you to our boo'ers

We got boo'd a few nights ago.
Thanks Carrions :O)
Inside the bag of goodies
was a pumpkin whoopie cushion.
She was completely out of her mind
with excitement. We've never owned
one before and it showed.

The Candy Ghost

Cartoon Ghost Clipart

Ever heard of him?

We L.O.V.E the candy ghost.
If it wasn't for him, Mama (I) would be
eating that candy morning, noon and night.
All of us would.
So, a few years back our friends shared
with us that they had a Candy Ghost.
Hmmm, never heard of that but it sounded fun.
He comes the night of Halloween.
(or a few days later, what ever works)
The kids pick out their favorite candies
and keep them.
(and as many as Mom & Dad say you can)
They put the left overs in a bag and set
it on the front porch for the candy
ghost to take the bag.
In return he leaves a little
non eatable, non sugar :O) treat.
Last year he left Black Cat Webkins.
This year they are hoping for
a Puppy in My Pocket. Something little, but fun.
They look forward to him coming every year :O)
Don't get me wrong. We don't give him EVERY piece
of candy put the majority of it, he gets.
And they love it!

Home Decorations

Have a great day.
I have a sick one at home.
I sure hope she gets to feeling better soon.
I feel helpless that I can't make her better.
But I can snuggle & cuddle, that helps.

U2

Just watch the first 15 seconds to get an idea
of how many were actually there.
And that's just the standing room only part.

Look out here we come.
And we are ready
to R.O.C.K.

We had a blast!

Absolutely incredible.
The concert was great.
The Black Eyed Peas ROCKED.
Slash came out, he and Fergie
rocked, Sweet Child of Mine.
It was so cool.

U2 was out of this world!
Their following is amazing.
I have never seen that many people
in one place, completely rock'n out,
ever.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
The crowd sung the entire beginning
of
Still haven't found what I'm looking for
Bono never sang a word.
That was pretty cool.

It was truly what you see in music video's.
People everywhere.
Specially the floor, standing only area.
That was insane.
A few times I reminded my hubby to
just look around and take it all in.
Nearly a 100 thousand people, thats a lot.

What a great night.
Just me and my guy.
xo

I Like Summer, there's no schedule :O)

I like summer.
No schedule.
Family is all home.
Lazy days.
Crazy days.
I like it.
I am all for year round school.
Go to school.
Get some time off.
Go back.
I like that.

I was getting my pictures ready for
this post when I realized they
all were a little gloomy.
Not much color in them.
Funny, cuz that's how I have
been feeling. Trying to find a happy dance
somewhere. Maybe after I pick up around here
I will find one.

Anyhoo, we've had a crazy, draining week round' here.

Got a visit from him.
Girls thought it was so cool.
But didn't want to touch him.
me either.

Hatched a Caterpillar and watched him
fly off. It was cool.

Was out shooting pictures of jewelry
and saw this tiny hummingbird.

Now getting ready to take on the weekend.
Woo-hoo
Going to U2 with my hubby. Going to make
a whole day event out of it.
Should be pretty cool.

Nothing like the Outdoors

We headed out to
see what our surroundings were like.

This was one of them.
Beautiful, isn't it?

We found a great amphitheater.
The kids performed for us.
We even found an MC, Jason.
Didn't get a picture of him, but he was great kid.

This was our first hill.

Beautiful.

They saw a trail and off they went.
It was pretty big.

Their first hike.

Tired little girlies.

3 Great Dads.

Wild deer.
Beautiful.

Just an abandon mobile home.
I thought it was cool.

The young ones of the group.

She loved it!

Amazing scenery.

Crossed creeks using falling trees as stepping stones.

These pictures didn't turn out all that great but her laughter is the best sound ever.
I had to post them.
Miss Darlene gave her a horsie-ride.
She l.o.v.e.d it!
She laughed and laughed and laughed.

I am so happy they get these memories.

Friends.

Annual hike with the Dads

Off they go.

The 5 HOUR hike. Yes, 5 HOURS.

They took breaks.

They hiked up to the MASH t.v. show grounds.

What a proud moment.
Only a few falls, and a few complaints.
Overall, they did GREAT!

On the way back to camp they stopped off at a watering hole.
They said the water was F.R.E.E.Z.I.N.G.
But so fun.

They're back. Yay.....

And this hiker was tired.

Then......

these guys showed up.
Holy cow.
Around 50 fraternity boys from UCLA.
We thought we were in for a long night.
But low and behold they were great.
Never heard a peep from em'

Play'n catch with Dad.

Dirty and all.

Helps to have fun Moms on the trip.
Thanks girls.

This is us.

Crazy and all.
Great memories.
Good times.
