Open House

I'm telling you. I can remember the very first second of kindergarten. And now its the end of 1st grade already. That is just crazy to me. And my little one will be going into kindergarten this fall. Wow, it seems to be just flying by. Anyone have any special tricks to slow down this whole process.

Havaiana Give a Way

Don't cha love Havaianas. We sure do. Kids, me, hubby, all of us.
These were created today for a bridal party. Cute aren't they?
I am giving a pair away. Plain, NO bow. The color will be a surprise. But they will be an adult pair or a pair for your kiddo. Just let me know.
They are perfect for the summer time.
Just leave me a comment and I will pick a winner Monday morning.
Say hi. Tell me your favorite Havaiana color. How many pairs do you own?
Mention the give a way on your blog and get entered a second time.

I also created these scrapbooks today for an esty customer. 30 of them. Yes, 30.
She is giving them for party favors. I love the colors and the ribbon. They were fun to make.

Have a great Weekend.

Don't forget to say hello. Brand new pair of Havaianas could be yours.
Oh, if you've never heard of havaiana's, they are one of the most comfortable flip flops ever invented.

The last 72 hours

has been quite eventful. Sophia took a spill so hard Sunday night that we ended up in ER. She was trying to jump over a sleeping bag and didn't make it. Resulting in a hematoma, another word for a ping bong ball sticking out of her forehead. Holy cow, it was crazy and scary. She is ok, thank you.
And Isabella woke up a couple nights ago, opps, I mean mornings ago, 4:00am, and was screaming, I can't turn my head. She slept wrong and has the stiffest neck ever. Took her to the doctors. They said it will take a couple days to feel better. So yesterday this was her. Heating pad, her 2 babies and I Love Lucy, all day.

On another note. SoSoBella Designs as started doing home parties. Book one and receive an extra item at 50% off, in addition to the benefits of being a hostess.

Getting Married

anyone? Or do you know of anyone getting married? I would love to donate a flowers girl necklace or possibly make the bridal party necklaces. Let me know.
Have a great weekend.

I am So grateful

for these two. They love each other so much.
They are kind to each other.
They are thoughtful of each other.
They enjoy each other.
Sophia received two gift cards to target for her birthday, she kindly, on her own gave one to her sister so they each had one. We never said a word. Actually I wouldn't have asked her to share that. It's her birthday and her gift. But she wanted to.
I can't think of anything better in my life then to have had a sister like one of these.
And after losing 4 pregnancy's I am so GRATEFUL they have each other and that I have them.
Thank You

Thank you Joy's Hope

What a cute little treat. Found them here. Super fun. Although I didn't do much. I only bought canning jars and brought the ribbon. My friend, Nancy, made the cupcakes and the frosting. Try it, the end result is yummy, cute and cheap!

48 Hour Sale

This was created today and thought it'd be fun to have a 48 hour sale. Why not right?
So go here to purchase it. Click on Sale Items.

I don't sew, but if I did

I would make aprons for gifts and include this letter/poem.

GRANDMA'S APRON

The principle use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, but along with that, it served as a holder for removing hot pans from the oven: It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears.

From the chicken-coop
the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven.

When company came
those aprons were ideal for hiding places for shy kids: and when the weather was cold, grandma wrapped it around her arms.

Those big old aprons wiped
many a perspiring brow, bent over the hot wood stove. Chips and kindling wood were brought into the kitchen in that apron.

From the garden, it
carried all sorts of vegetables. After the peas had been shelled it carried out the hulls.

In the fall the apron was used to bring in apples that had fallen from the trees.

When unexpected company drove up the road, it was surprising how much furniture that old apron could dust in a matter of seconds.

When dinner was ready, Grandma walked out onto the porch, waved her apron, and the men knew it was time to come in from the fields to dinner.

It will be a long time before someone invents something that will replace that "old time apron"
that served so many purposes.

Thank you Aunt Geri for giving me this along with an apron that you made.
I'd love to give credit to the writer if anyone knows the name.

Have a wonderful Tuesday.
