Christmas. Was. Wonderful.

Christmas morning came early for one little bird.
The other was able to sleep in just a bit.

Webkins were left.
They loved em'

And their grandma gave them American Girl Dolls.
Very excited. Very happy. Very thankful.

Breakfast was cooked by the man of the house.
It was yummy.

Grandma & Grandpa stayed.
What a great morning.

While breakfast was being enjoyed we opened another envelope
from Grandma and Grandpa.
We were giving the girls hints to what was inside.
We asked "What is the happiest place on earth"
One replied. Without a hesitation. Without a second thought.
She clearly replied
"Our House"
We laughed. She still didn't get it.
So we then asked, "OK, what's the second happiest place on earth"
and clear as day, without hesitation she replied
"Grandma and Grandpa's house"

Christmas Day Eve.
Good times.
Good food.
Good company.
I love that when they
turn on Italian music,
they come from all over the house
to dance.
Its wonderful.

Me, playing photographer again.

Great pictures with Daddy.

But

I said that I was going to take more pictures with me in them.
Now if I could just remember to do that!
Cuz really, there is a Mama around.

Wonderful Christmas

Just Getting Ready

For a house full of family.

Some of us sit inside.

Some of us like to sit outside.

Last year I rigged up pvc pipes along the outside of the patio cover.
Bought some brown Martha Stewart linen panels
and hung them like drapes to give the outside more of a room look/feel.
And to hopefully make it a little warmer.
It worked. Specially with the table top heat lamp.
Love it!

Our lit Palm Trees.
Aren't they fun.
Picture doesn't do them justice.
There are so many lights on them.
So sparkley. So fun to look at.

Created this little seating area.
Comes with a tall heat lamp too.
Sure to keep you warm.

And to top it off we will be having a Win, Lose, or Draw game.
Ours will be played with the game pictionary and a easel.
Thanks to my friend for letting me borrow hers.
We couldn't find ours.
Should be tons of fun.
I am looking forward to good food and great company.

Wonderful

We had the most wonderful morning yesterday.
We were invited to a
pajama mother/daughter cookie exchange.
It was delightful.
The girls were so wonderful.
All 30 + of them.
There were crafts.
Yummy food and good company.
And when they started caroling, it brought a tear to my eye.
Their soft voices, it was wonderful.
They sounded so pretty.
Thank you to the hostesses.
It was a wonderful way to start
our Christmas break.

An Amazing Day

I think today was one of the most amazing days this month.
My oldest had a huge heritage speech/report this morning
in school. She did awesome and received an E.
She also had a violin performance.
She even had a solo.
It was great!
And then to top it off she had a math test that she
passed.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
We are so very proud of her.

Then late this evening I got this.
Woo-hoo.

And my sweet friend Nancy gave them these too cute hats.
They love them.
thank you

I am so grateful that I am their Mom.
