Christmas was WoNdErFuL

We spent time preparing.
Getting ready to celebrate.
It came and went and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Here is a little recap of our Christmas Eve.

We love our tree.

just took it down today

we had family over Christmas eve. it was wonderful.
the sweet baby is a foster baby that my cousin currently has.
we loved him as if he was our own.

and this one. my oldest.
she would have loved to have had another sister or a brother. she has the motherly love that just comes naturally.
loosing 4 pregnancy's saddens me when i think of her and how she would have loved to have had a bigger family (me too)
but we're good. the four of us.
i couldn't have asked for a better family.
honestly. they are the best.

oh, back to our Christmas Eve, sorry.
cousins. i love em'

games. love them too.

neighborhood santa visited.
isn't that cool.

Christmas eve ended with lots of hugs and merry merry's.

the kids got their new pj's on, and were ready to go to bed.
cookies and milk ready for santa.
and carrots out for the reindeers.

they were so excited for morning.

celebrate YOU.

celebrate you

you are one of a kind,
there will never be another you.
celebrate you.
you have gifts and talents that are uniquely yours.
celebrate you.
you are a star child sent directly from the heart of God.
celebrate you.
you are a light in the life of those closest to your heart.
celebrate you.
you make difference in the lives of many.
celebrate you.
you are admired and adored, and you don't even know it.
celebrate you.
you are loved like crazy.
celebrate you.

i have typed it out.
posted it in their room.
it's from philosophy lotion.
i love so many of their bottle writings.
the inner grace is wonderful.
but this one. i love it. really love it.
i just think it says everything.
i printed it out and posted it in my girls rooms.
i gave the bottle of lotions to our wonderful teachers.
one of the teachers, i told her
even if she didn't use the lotion she needed to read the bottle.
and i made her shake on it.
when i came back to class.
she said, the class was going to read something
and that i would enjoy it.
she read celebrate you, straight from the wrapped gift.
and when it came to "celebrate you"
without a cue, the kids shouted "celebrate you"
i taped it.
it was wonderful.
seeing kids point at each other and say it loud.
absolutely wonderful.

Holiday Season

This is probably my favorite time of year.
The music, the warm house.
The kids excited about Christmas.
The giving.
I just love it all.

Our house is decorated. Inside and out.
I'll have to take pictures and share.
Although I am awful at taking
photo's indoors. Anyone have any good tips?

I do love, however, taking pictures outdoors.
Here are a few. It was time to fill some
empty frames.

frames are filled.
yah.

have a wonderful weekend.
i am working most of it.
so happy to be filling orders for gifts.
i am so grateful this time of year.
it's busy, yes.
but i love the thought that goes behind each and every order.
thank you.

A Little Family Time

We were able to get away for a few days.
We stayed in an old cabin, as you walked into the kitchen it seemed to slant.
Loved it.
Incredible fire, nightly.
Enough snow to play in.
It was perfect.

We are Thankful

We have many things to be thankful for in this family.
So, one night I tore a piece of card stock into pieces and gave some to each of the family members.
We sat down together and wrote what we were thankful for.
And put them up, to remind us.

Have a wonderful Monday.
They are one of my most favorite days.

Movie Night - Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3.
Target Popcorn, sprinkled with a few m&m's.
Outdoors.
15+ kids.
Beach chairs.
Blankets.
and friends.

Oh, Reindeer Heads & Elf heads too.

what does that equal, good times for sure!

We started the summer of 2009.
We had so much fun.
It was warm.
The kids came in there pj's.
It was a night to remember for sure.
Hannah Montana, The Movie.
And the cool thing was that all the kids knew
the songs. So when one came on they all sung together.
Super fun.

This year summer came and went and we didn't get a chance
to have movie night.
But we knew we wanted to do it every year,
so why not in November.
It wasn't raining. Cold, yah, but not to bad.
They all came in warm clothes, beach chairs, and blankets.
It was perfect.
They kids were so great.
Couldn't have asked for a better night.
Well, we were missing a few of our favorite
friends, but we are already planning another for them.

patient kids waiting for the night to begin.
one a little bummed that most of her girlies were out of town.

kids coloring their mask
end result, too cute.

target popcorn.
perfect!

let the movie begin

Such a great night.
Friends together.
Making memories.
Isn't that what it's all about?

Thanks to all who came.
Even ones that had school the next day.

Teacher Special at SoSoBella Designs

We love our teachers.
They put in so much extra work.
They truly care about our kids.
And for this I am grateful.
So today, SoSoBella Designs is offering this necklace to all teachers.
And if you are purchasing for a teacher, you get the special too.

So hop over, right here and show your appreciation to your teachers. Feel free to have wording on there instead of names.

And we are giving one away too.
Leave us a comment and let us know what you remember about your favorite teacher. What was it that made you remember them.
We will pick a winner Monday.
