One Night a Month

Fancy dresses.
White gloves.
Suits and ties.
Dancing.
Cookies and punch.
Cotillion.

So fun.
So cute.
I never did it. I didn't even know about it.
She loves it. Smiles from ear to ear.
It's so formal.
It's so honest.
I love to watch her.
I love to sit with the other Mom's (and grandparents) and giggle and smile.
Our hearts are truly filled with joy from our kids.

learning the swing. so stinking cute!!!!

mean while little sister watching with me,
all the cuteness going on in the room.
Thinking to herself, I never want to do this.

Then a sweet Mom from one of the little boys in her class asked
her if she wanted a shirley temple.
It was so cute!
She was tickled pink that they asked her.
and of course she said yes.
So there she sat watching, with her shirley temple
in hand.
What a great night.

Did you do cotillion?

Oh goodness, too cute! I didn't know what cotillion was until I saw it on that TV show "The OC" or something....not sure if it's a huge West Coast thing or just an East Coast thing or....something that people didn't do in small towns! :) Would have been fun though, I love dressing up and dancing! ;-)

They BOTH look so adorable! Your youngest reminds me of my youngest in her look and mannerisms! Peyton would LOVE cotillion if we had it. We are a wee bit too close to the Mason Dixon Line for it. My sister in law in Richmond VA has it and my nephews attend. I think it's so sweet! HEY, BTW, I need your address because your Scentsy came in yesterday and I need to mail it out. robynlbedsaul@gmail.com
