Another Beautiful Day

Today I am so grateful to be able to take my kids to school.

I dropped them off this morning, pulled away and realized just how lucky I am

to be able to do that.

we laugh. we sing. we talk. pray. 

we remember to be kind. thoughtful. respectful. 

Its a beautiful day, sure to be a great weekend and I am grateful.

I am more than 1/2 way finished with my Japan order.

Proud Mama

We had a violin performance to attend.

It was beautiful.

The younger kids were great. 

The middle school kids were awesome.
The high school, they were fantastic.

And this kid, 

She was awesome. 

I cried. Of course I did. 

I didn't bawl but I had tears for sure. 

I was so proud.

The three of us have been friends for many years.

And on the right, she's been my friend since kindergarten.

The three of us are different in so many wonderful ways.

We are truly friends of the heart. 

We love each other. 

We love each others families.

We are there for each other, no matter what. 

Its such a blessing to have these girls in my life. 

We celebrated together another year. 

Had a wonderful night. 

With friends, hubbies and families.

Extending a Thank You

every once in awhile i will get a note from my hubby

i find them in the places he knows i'll be

often they are in the dash of my car

the weekends here 

 and i'm happy

 the family is home

and i love it

i got so much done today

worked
played
shopped
worked some more

i went to an estate sale today

for me, its a little sad to know someone has passed,
knowing their family is missing them

but today, i was inspired 

the linens in the cupboards were IRONED

the napkins and dishcloths were STARCHED & IRONED

everything was so lovely

how wonderful it must have been to live 

back when things were slower

which inspired me 

not to slow down, cuz i just don't think i could

but to put a little extra on the little things
i'll show you what i mean in a later post
