Its an adjustment for sure.

Getting into the groove.
Mornings.
Reminders.
Goodbye's
Craziness.
Sleepiness.
Unsure.
Excitement.

This will be an adjustment to all, well, at least for Sophia and I.
I can't seem to settle at night.
Up, awake, mind won't shut off.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Isabella seems to be doing fine.
Just needs to be reminded a few things each morning!

We are looking forward to a
Do-Nothing-Weekend
Swim. Laugh. Sleep.
Connect.
R.E.L.A.X.
I just can't seem to do it yet.
It will come right?
Sure it will.
Have a wonderful Weekend.

It always makes me feel better to give.

How to shut off the mind at night... yikes! I am a victim to that myself. Actually, I start praying, thanking God for all things, for the whole journey, blessings. When I think about those things, i know how in control HE is. Soon, i feel safe, content and at peace. HE gives me rest the way Tylenol PM cannot sometimes! :)

I am a professed night owl, but Bigelow Plantation Mint tea with lemon and honey makes me realx and is so YUMMY! Of course, I don't think that compares to Nancy's tip! Good luck and I'll send up a little prayer!

I knit to relax when my mind wont turn off. It gets easier everyday. Everytime Shelby and I go to leave I call for Nolan. I miss him here with us. But he loves school.... And that makes me happy. It will get easier I promise :)

I take a bath and have a cup of herbal tea. This happens to me when I have a million ideas running through my head. I also find that I need to turn off the computer in the evening when I can't sleep, it forces me to relax.
WIshing you a goodnights sleep and a RelaXing evening,
thank you for your sweet comment on my blog,
xoxo

I will be feeling the same emotions when my youngest one goes off to school early next year. I suppose it is something we have to experience, sometimes we have to go with the flow and give ouselves time to adjust.

I am the same as you...hard to shut my mind off when I have so much to do. So if you get anything that works let me know. I am feeling so overwhelmed right now esp. with my oldest starting kindergarten.

I make myself a cup of hot tea and grab my favorite book for a while. After I've read for a while, I turn my day and any of its troubles to God, as they say He's up all night anyway! God is so good - He never lets us down!
