Hope all is well and that you find the resolution you need! Letting go is never easy...for anyone! Like the other advice you've gotten, take deep deep breaths.
It's ALWAYS hard for me. I have to work at it everyday! I'm currently trying to shake off a few actions/words of others. The hardest is anything that has to do with my girls. Breathing is not as easy as it sounds! When you figure it out, call me, I'll need a tutor!
