Celebration.

Wow. I can't believe it's Tuesday.

Wasn't it just the weekend.

We celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday on Sunday.

It was wonderful.

All the Great Grandkids.

Beautiful isn't it.

We love you Grandma.

Life long friends.

Mmmm, chocolate covered strawberries.

Let's just say, there were none left.

Busy Week, Great Weekend

Can fall come, please.

It seems silly to be able to swim still.

Great. Wonderful. Fun.

Working hard today.

But I wanted to share our night with you.

It was great!

Cheerleaders were so sweet. Thank you.

They both did it!

So proud of them.

Of course, Sophia said "Mama, I'm not going to do it"

But she did.

Way to go Sophia.

And Isabella, what a wonderful sister you are.

Thank you for making sure she was taking care of before you took your position.

These girls were wonderful.

Its going Be a Fun Night

The girls are cheering at a high school football game tonight.

Can you stand it.

They both are a little nervous but Isabella is pretty excited!

This was the conversation with Sophia on the first day

of the cheer clinic

Mama, I don't want to do it, I'm nervous.

Thats ok, you don't have to if you don't want to, but lets put some tennies on you so your are comfortable when we drop off your sister.

As we drive to pick up her sister, sitting in the back seat I hear her say:

You think I am going to change my mind but I'm not.

She new eXaCtlY what I was doing by putting tennis shoes on her. I love it.

Did she do it, yes. Did she love it, yes.

Is she nervous about tonight, yes.

Her sister on the other hand is nervous but ExCiTeD.

They will perform at half time.

I am curious to see if they both actually do it.

There will be a lot of people there.

Our New Friend

Apparently this little guy won't stay out of the pool.

I found my hubby outside holding the pool net upside down

shaking it slowly, waiting patiently for this little guy to come out

Isabella walked up, put her hand in the net and grabbed it out.

Cracked me up.

Then it pooped on her hand. Yuck.

I thought Sophia was going to throw up.

It was funny.

They put him high in the fence.

I hope he stays long gone.

Or at least out of the pool.

Oh my gosh, I found an old SD Card today.

These pictures were on it.

Can you stand it.

I can't believe how little she was

such a short time ago.

I miss that SO stink'n much.

2 years ago.

New Things, New Adventures

I hope your long weekend was great.

It was wonderful here.

Weather cooled down just a bit.

Family home. No plans.

We swam. Ate. Hung out together. Played Mario Wii. Started a new book.

Sunday, I got to visit a flea market that I had

been wanting to go to.

It was GREAT.

Better then the Rose Bowl, better then Vets.

At least for me it was.

I can't wait to go back.

It was a beautiful morning today, so I thought I'd play around

with my camera.

I did.

It was fun.

Played with the lighting.

Played with different spots.

Then I ran a few errands.

Got my hubby a few small gifts,

its his first day back to school tomorrow, I like to

surprise him with a little something.

Insert sad face now, he has been home all summer,

and tomorrow he goes back.

How wonderful it has been.

W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L.

But fun to get back to schedule as well.

Anyhow,

When I came home he met me outside.

Wondered why, but thought it was nice.

Well, he wanted to show me this incredible

web and the huge spider who was living

in it.

It was as big as a quarter, the body of the spider, not to mention his legs.

May not be big to you but it is HUGE to us (me).

It was brown and striped, couldn't look at it for to long, it kind a freaked me out.

Anyway, I had remembered that is were I was

playing with my camera, in that exact spot.

If you take a look at this picture below.

Right above her right shoulder,

yep, the spider, its brown.

I know it looks small but I swear, it was pretty big.

You can't see it very good, but its there.

Holy cow, I would have felt so bad if

she would have back up into that web.

Luckily she didn't.

Whew!

Sunday Drive

Family Days

I remember my mom telling me that's

what they did on Sundays, they took family drives.

No destination, they just drove. The whole family.

I think, back then, it was popular.

So today

my husband asked me

if I wanted to take a drive.

We don't do it often

but it reminds me of the olden days.

I like that.

The girls and I had no idea where we were

going but he did.

We arrived at a great outdoor strip mall

down by the beach.

A few of my favorite stores were there.

It was great.

Found these floors in one of them

I just love them.

We hope to

get them in our home someday.

They are old, worn and wonderful.

It's over.

Sophia rocked the morning.

Teared up when I left, hung on for dear life.

But recovered quickly and had a great day.

Isabella, she was off the minute we walked on the campus.

I am so proud of her.
