Second Time Around

Here is another attempt to get some Christmas card shots. 

Its Not Easy

This was our first attempt at shooting Christmas pictures. Holy cow, its not easy. 

fun idea

i have seen this before and finally decided to try it. these are a pair of knee high socks. i cut the foot, bottom part off to make fun and funky leg warmers for the girls. aren't they cute. i can't wait to use them in our next photo shoot. be sure to check back. i have fun things in mind.

Rocket

isabella has a unique relationship with animals, she always has. she loves them, she takes care of them, she spends time with them. this is one of our cats, rocket. every morning, and i mean every morning, he is at her gate, waiting for her to wake up. and he'll wait until she gets up. on the weekends, she'll open her gate and let him in. he will be curled up on her bed with her. its really cute. 

both kids have a gate on their bedroom door. they, the girls, think if the cats jumped up on their bed in the middle of the night it would scare them. so we made gates for them. 

quite, shy

ya, just when i think she is pretty shy and quite. preschool tells me that she is a crack up and that she is super loud, one of the loudest out of all the kids. really? that surprises me. but then i see her look at the camera like this and i think...hmmmm, maybe she's not so quite. 

Disneyland

oh my gosh, we went to disneyland friday night and it was SUPER. we went on more rides then we have EVER gone on. the girls are high enough to go on almost everything. i think the best was all of us going on soaring california. it was so wonderful to see their facing looking at that screen. i am pretty sure i never took my eyes off them thee entire ride. poor little sophia cried as we left. she said the fireworks were to loud. i agree, the ride is pretty soothing, other then the golf ball, the really loud jets, and the fireworks. all in all we had a great night! and it wasn't even crowded.

what a great day

four days off, it was wonderful. and our first day back to school was great. we had our daisy meeting (23 girls) and we had so much fun. 1/2 of the girls stayed outside to sing and dance. remaining girls came inside with me to do our craft. we thought of the things we were thankful for, one word things. and then we wrote them on our rocks. it was so fun. and the finished project was even better. 

after our daisy meeting we headed over to paint a tile for our school wall. it was so fun to see the girls be creative and know what they wanted to paint. i sat a little uneasy knowing that if isabella made a mistake it couldn't be fixed. but she did a great job. i can't wait to see the tile when its baked and finished.

Good Times

I hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend. We had a 4 day weekend which has made it absolutely wonderful. We went to Disneyland, our favorite ride is now Toy Story. Holy cow, if you haven't had a chance to play the ride, YOU NEED TO. It was so much fun, so so much fun.  Everyone in the family will love it! Here are some pictures from Disneyland. We went at night, which was a total treat for all of us. Usually we visit during the day.

What A Great Time

we had so much fun on halloween. chris set up a huge movie screen and played nightmare before christmas, jack skeleton. we had friends and family over. the kids had a blast trick or treating. great time. great memories. can't wait for next year. 
chris said this was the first year that isabella really got it, trick or treating. she went from house to house, lawn to lawn. she had a blast. sophia pooped out half way through, told daddy she was done. she came back to the house and watched the movie with grandma. 




the kids has their halloween parades during the morning at school. daddy took the day off to join us.
