A couple years ago I called the company to see how to order here in the US, I never got through. I kind of forgot about it. Then I got my phone bill. There were three $30+ phone charges, each lasting about 1 minute, yikes and I didn't even get to order.

We did this for my Grandma's 89th birthday back in August. I called all the grandkids (my cousins) and asked them to give me descriptive words about grandma and plugged them in. It was fun. I printed it out, framed it and gave it to her. She l.o.v.e.d. it.

Finally

Almost 7 years old and finally Isabella lost a tooth. The tooth fairy was very generous and she left lots of pixey/toothfairy dust. 

Something New

Sometimes you just need something new, something bright, something fun. And even though these are not brand new to me they feel like it. I have been making these cute little hair clippies for awhile now but haven't made them recently. I love putting the colors together, I love the different sizes, they are just fun for me to make. More Fun.

Southern California, Sun and Fun =  the beach.  It was such a beautiful day on Sunday how could you pass up going to the beach.

It was inexpensive, and so much fun. And it was a low tide, so it was easy to collect seashells all day. 

Fun. Cheap. Memorable.

On the way to school last week the girls and I talked about trying something different for "Friday Night Movie" night. I suggested we bring their mattress's out to the front room, have a fire and watch movies. They thought that was the coolest thing ever! So, while the kids were at school (friday), I pulled out their twin mattress's to the front room. I brought pillows and blankets, and wah-la, instant movie night. Something different, something fun & easy. Movie selection should have had more thought put into it. We chose ET, it scared the heck out of Isabella.  After ET, we watched Under Dog, cute movie. Fun night. Try it, let me know how it goes :O)

Boy am I lucky...

My aunt Geri is a phenomenal seamstress and I was lucky enough to have her make me the yummiest seat cushions ever. They are leopard and chenille, 2 of my most favorite fabrics. Oh how I love them.

What a crazy year. Lots of great things happened, a few disappointing things as well. But we are blessed to be a happy family. When I lay my head at night to pray, one thing I know for sure, we are truly blessed to have the family we have.
